I made these when I was at my parents’ house in Gainesville, Florida, for Christmas in 2009. My parents raved about them, but they have to do that, they’re my parents.

This was the first Contessa recipe I tried. I can’t say it was done perfectly. I may or may not have used coarse ground sea salt that all sank to the bottom when cooked… 🙂 The top part was pretty tasty, even though I prefer a cake that’s a little less “crusty.”

Vanessa Contessa Project: Brownie Pudding
Brownie Pudding – a chocolate lover’s dream! I had this with some vanilla ice cream, and it was perfect. I would make this again ANYTIME! I made a half recipe this time, and it worked out well. The top is crunchy and the bottom is ooey gooey. It’s supposed to be somewhere between brownies and pudding.
